		<description>It&#039;s a common foundation of conversation, you can be using the same words and be speaking entirely different languages.  &quot;Ax&quot; used to be a noun meaning a tool used for chopping wood; now it&#039;s a verb (&quot;can I ax you something?&quot;).  Likewise, AJAX (as you point out) was coined as an acronym to encompess the asyncrhonous communication of a browser client with a server using javascript and xml; Now it means &quot;Nifty animation tricks&quot;.
