Dell Finally Recalls My Inspiron “Crap-Top”

August 15th, 2006 by James Carr

For about 8 months now, I have had so many problems with my Dell Inspiron 1100 it wasn’t funny. Sometimes it got very very slow, it was always scorching hot, and occasionally it shut itself off from overheating if left unattended. It’s also been a piece of crap … in the year and half I have had it, the casing is cracked and the keys are beginning to see wear and tear, some hardly working. Finally Back Online

June 7th, 2006 by James Carr

Well, I finally got around to getting my blog back online after a year long hiatus. I just had too much time consumed with the ever elusive job hunt post college, but now that I finally found a job I love at a great employer for decent pay, I finally have a bit more free time to continue with my usual antics and hobbies, and blog about them to boot. ;)

After installing the latest wordpress version (2.0), I must say I am rather impressed … it is 100 times better than the last version I used, where I was stuck writing my blog posts in a 6 inch by 2 inch textarea and had to use raw html. Kudos to the wordpress team, they’ve brought this a far way from it’s old days! The only problem now is to decide on a theme, then decide on how to personalize it. :(
